About Us- We Farm Organic!

Come stay and be part of our farm experience- check us out on FarmStayUSA and bring the whole family. Help or watch as three Girls farm 100 acres raising Mini-Rex pet rabbits &  P.O.A. Youth Ponies see our Champion Mare "Dolly". Lil Doll won first place in color and Grand Champion over-all in her last show! We have excellent barn cats that really love to get the nasty critters like voles, so Lil Doll can run safer in the pasture. Currently weaning excellent mousers/ barn cats ready to go for easter! Fluffy is white long hair, blue eyes and very spunky! Orangie is a striped with white markings, big green eyes and he is the biggest because he crys the most.

Currently working on organic farm management plan including certification from the Oregon Tilth. High standards we hope to achieve allowing our farm to contribute excellent quality food.

We have a diversity of crops already planted. Forage crops to be harvested in late june to feed our livestock. Strawberries will be planted soon allong with embracing the wild harvest Blackberries that grow so plentiful naturally here. Herbs and garden starts will be sold at the local farmers market this summer, allong with freshly picked berries. We are planning to put in some "Hoop" greenhouses to raise our food for the farmers market. WWOOFERS are all welcome to come help and get an amazing breakfast allong with the best hospitality a farm can offer! E-Mail for current Work/Trade opportunities!

We are all in this together – and we are glad you are visiting our site. This is our online meeting place, where we organize our activities, share ideas, and publicize our mission. We are making a difference in the community and wildlife by using sustainable methods to insure our food safety and habitat. Currently we hope to preserve critical nesting ground for several birds that are dissapearing. Also in partnership with the local Soil and Water Conservation District, and the Local Watershed Council we work to preserve a pond and 2 creeks, improving water quality for us all. Addressing these critical areas in the local watershed helps keep water clean and helps our farm become Food Alliance Certified a high quality we strive for. Food safety, sustainability and best management practices, The FlaxyAnne Way!

Our Work- Animal Welfare Approved

We are currently up- grading all of our animal husbandry to achieve this level of care for all the domestic farm animals. Standards and inspections to insure best practices always!

Recient projects include; 1000 foot of safe fencing for our livestock to insure best practice of grazing and non confinement. We also added some irrigation to insure summer pasture and a water source away from the creek.

Some spring break projects include a new rabbitry for our mini-rex rabbits, Peanut our female needs more room for future babies, and an up-grade will insure best practice for our rabbits.

We work together to make our cause known, to reach out to other groups who share our vision. Whether you’re ready to lend a hand at one of our activities or have photos or articles to share about a recent event, here’s the place to do it.
